Welcome to the Edo State Public Buildings And Maintenance Agency. We are the premier agency entrusted with the responsibility of overseeing the maintenance, renovation, and management of public buildings across Edo State, Nigeria. Before 2019, the maintenance of public buildings in Edo State rested with the different Ministries, Departments, and Agencies occupying them.

However, in March 2020, His Excellency Mr. Godwin Nogheghase Obaseki through an Executive Order, set up the Edo State Infrastructure Asset Management Office (EDSIAMO). The Core Mandate of the then EDSIAMO was to improve functionality and quality of infrastructure as well as encourage a more sustainable maintenance culture in Edo State.

Functions

As the primary agency responsible for public buildings
maintenance in Edo State, our functions include:

Conducting regular inspections to identify maintenance needs.

Implementing preventive maintenance programs to mitigate risks and prolong the lifespan of buildings.

Facilitating repairs, renovations, and upgrades to address structural deficiencies and enhance building performance.

What We Do
